RenovationStart is built by one person: Ritchel Akwali, also the maker of VerbouwStart.nl, the independent Dutch renovation cost calculator. This is the English sister: same engine, same rule. Honest numbers with sources, tools that work without an account, and nobody buying your details behind the page.
Renovation cost information is dominated by sites that exist to sell your contact details to builders. The numbers on such sites have a job, and that job is not accuracy. This site does the opposite: the price comes first, with its source and its assumptions, and your details are not part of the business. The method is public on how we price, and what little is counted, anonymously, is listed in the privacy page.
